Heraeus Noblelight GmbH and NARVA Lichtquellen GmbH + Co. KG. take a 50% interest each in the new joint venture, HN Sunlight GmbH, which markets exclusively the Original Hanau products in the future.
Heraeus Noblelight GmbH with its headquarters in Hanau and with subsidiaries in the USA, Great Britain, France, China, Australia and Puerto Rico, is one of the technology- and market-leaders in the production of specialist light sources. In 2006, Heraeus Noblelight had an annual turnover of 88 Million € and employed 651 people worldwide. The organisation develops, manufactures and markets infrared and ultraviolet emitters for applications in industrial manufacture, environmental protection, medicine and cosmetics, research, development and analytical laboratories.

NARVA Lichtquellen GmbH + Co. KG with its headquarters in Brand-Erbisdorf/ Germany looks back on more than forty years of experience in manufacturing fluorescent tubes. Founded as a part of Berliner Gluehlampenwerk in 1966 and passed into private hands beginning of the 1990s, NARVA today is active globally in the market of electric lamps. Tanning lamps have been part of the manufacturing portfolio for more than 12 years. With 350 employees NARVA reached a turnover of more than 32 million Euros in 2006. Since 2007, a new business segment has been opened up with vacuum collector tubes for solar heat generation.
